College Station Serves Up Its First-Ever

Dining for a cause; seven local restaurants sign on for the inaugural showcase
Visit College Station today announced the city’s first-ever Restaurant Week, set for Aug. 24-30, inviting locals and visitors alike to take part in a week of standout dining across town while raising money for the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
Seven restaurants have signed on to headline the inaugural event, and each has crafted a special prix fixe menu just for the week — a curated choice of starter, entrée and dessert built to showcase the dishes that define them, from signature plates to new creations. Lunch is set at $25, while dinner runs $35, $45 or $55 depending on the restaurant, giving diners a true taste of each restaurant’s best at one set price.
“This is about celebrating the flavors that make College Station a destination in its own right and putting a spotlight on the local chefs, owners and staff who make our food scene special,” said Angie Bertinot, Marketing Manager for Visit College Station.
For customers, College Station Restaurant Week offers an opportunity to explore new restaurants, revisit local favorites and support a good cause that benefits the community. Ten percent of Restaurant Week proceeds (excluding alcohol) will be donated to the Brazos Valley Food Bank, giving diners an easy and delicious way to support their neighbors across the region while enjoying a great meal.
Special Restaurant Week menus from participating restaurants will be released August 10 at visit.cstx.gov/cstxrestaurantweek, giving diners two weeks to plan their visit before the week kicks off.
