Main Street is hosting its 23rd Annual Downtown Scarecrow Extravaganza. This Scarecrow decorating contest is for all community members, schools, clubs, and organizations! Help us decorate Downtown Brenham for fall! Create a whimsical and fun scarecrow to be on display downtown this fall. Your design can be as simple or as elaborate as you would like. There will be $1,400 in cash prizes awarded in the following nine categories:

Online Registration – Ends Sept. 11th
Scarecrow Set-up – begins Sept. 24th; must be complete by September 28th
In-person Voting – Sept. 30th – Oct. 22nd (Maps & Ballot boxes are in Downtown Brenham sponsor locations)
Winners announced – Oct. 26th
Winners’ pictures taken – Oct. 27th-29th
