For two decades, College Station Parks and Recreation’s Starlight Music Series has attracted music lovers for free, family-friendly entertainment under the stars each spring at the Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater.
The tradition continues in 2026 with three Saturday concerts featuring country, classic rock, and Tejano artists. The series opens on April 25, followed by shows on May 30 and June 13. Guests are invited to bring picnic baskets, coolers, blankets, and lawn chairs for three evenings of outdoor entertainment.
The gates open at 6 p.m., and the shows begin at 7. Free parking is available at Post Oak Mall, with accessible parking near Colgate Drive. Pets are not permitted.

⭐Saturday, April 25
William Beckmann with guest Mike Ryan
William Beckmann is a Texas-born country artist known for a refined, retro-influenced sound shaped by classic country, rock, and traditional Mexican music. Raised in Del Rio, Texas, he combines a deep baritone vocal style with modern songwriting rooted in traditional storytelling.
His debut major-label album, Whiskey Lies & Alibis, reflects a neo-classic approach to country music supported by pedal steel, acoustic textures, and soulful vocals.
Mike Ryan is a Texas country artist known for his independent career, steady touring schedule, and strong presence on the Texas music scene. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, he has earned multiple Texas chart-topping songs and toured nationally, opening for major artists including Miranda Lambert and Morgan Wallen. He’s also a co-writer of Brad Paisley’s “Last Time for Everything.”
⭐Saturday, May 30
Infinite Journey with guest ZZ Nation
Infinite Journey is a Dallas-based tribute band that has performed nationwide since 2012, recreating the sound of Journey with a focus on faithful arrangements, guitar-driven performances, and signature vocal style. The five-piece group performs at festivals, corporate events, and clubs across the country.
ZZ Nation is a tribute act dedicated to the music and stage style of ZZ Top. The band performs classic blues rock material with an emphasis on tight musicianship, guitar tone, and a live show that reflects the spirit of the original recordings.
⭐Saturday, June 13
Ram Herrera with guest Sunny Sauceda
Ramiro Herrera is a prominent Tejano performer with more than four decades of experience. The San Antonio native rose to prominence in the early 1980s as a lead singer for David Lee Garza y Los Musicales before launching a successful solo career that established him as a lasting figure in the genre. Known for his versatility and strong stage presence, he remains a staple of Tejano music.
Sunny Sauceda is a Tejano artist from San Antonio recognized for his energetic accordion playing and dynamic live performances. He’s a respected figure in the genre known for his modern vocal style and contributions to award-winning projects.

Refreshments: Food trucks will be on-site. Guests may bring lawn chairs, snacks, coolers (no larger than 48 quarts), and blankets. Kegs and glass containers are not permitted.
Seating & Smoking: Chairs are welcome except in designated blanket-only areas. Smoking is not permitted in the main seating area; designated smoking areas are available.
