Carve Out Time This Month For A Full
Lineup Of Halloween Fun For All Ages

Information courtesy of | City of College Station

Can you smell the pumpkin spice and everything nice (and spooky) in the air? It’s the time of year for goblins and ghouls!

If you’re looking for something different, we offer more than traditional trick-or-treating. This year’s festivities have something for everyone, from a festival exclusively for seniors to the Annual Fall Fest and Haunted House the whole family can enjoy.

Look at our spooktacular lineup:

Annual Fall Fest & Haunted House (all ages)
Thursday, Oct. 16, 5:30-8 p.m., Lincoln Recreation Center

From carnival games to a spine-tingling haunted house, the Annual Fall Fest & Haunted House has plenty of thrills for the entire family. Candy will be available for children. Admission is free, and Halloween costumes are encouraged. Overflow parking will be available at Wayne Smith Athletic Complex (107 Holleman Dr.).

Haunted Hike (ages 13+)
Friday, Oct. 17, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Gary Halter Nature Center

Thrill-seekers ages 13 and older can take a spine-chilling guided Haunted Hike through Lick Creek Park to learn about local cryptids such as the chupacabra and gator man. The hike doesn’t end with creatures lurking in the dark. Stick around for classic monster movies, a spooky s’mores station, and games. The registration fee is $10. Space is limited, and registration is required by 4 p.m. on Oct. 17.

Senior Autumn Fest (ages 55+)
Thursday, Oct. 23, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Lincoln Recreation Center

Adults 55 and older are invited to wear their best Halloween costumes for a festive afternoon of food, music, dancing, and prizes at the Senior Autumn Fest. Live music, a cakewalk, and plenty of door prizes make it the perfect way to celebrate the season. Admission is free. Overflow parking with a shuttle service will be available from the Wayne Smith Athletic Complex.

Trunk or Tree-t (all ages)
Friday, Oct. 24, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Wolf Pen Creek Festival Site

Celebrate Texas trees at Trunk or Tree-t, a family-friendly festival featuring booths with games, children’s activities, prizes, treats, and free tree seedlings. With Halloween and Arbor Day in Texas coinciding in the same week, the event highlights the many benefits trees provide, including habitats, health and wellness, and community enrichment. Admission is free. Food vendors will be available, but alcohol and glass containers are not permitted. Parking is available at Post Oak Mall. Handicap parking is available on Colgate Street, and dogs are not allowed.

Carve out some time. The Halloween countdown has begun!
