Last night in Arlington, Texas, fans packed Globe Life Stadium for the highly anticipated Breezy Bowl, and I had the privilege of experiencing Chris Brown live once again—for what feels like the 20th time. As someone who has never missed a Chris Brown concert, I can confidently say he remains one of the greatest performers of our generation, standing in the same league as Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, and Usher.
I arrived a little late, missing the opening acts Bryson Tiller and Summer Walker, but just in time to witness Breezy make his grand entrance. Channeling his inner Michael Jackson, Chris took the stage in a dramatic fashion reminiscent of MJ’s legendary Super Bowl performance. The moment he appeared, the energy inside the stadium shifted—the crowd erupted, and from that point forward, nobody was sitting down.
For three straight hours, Chris Brown delivered a flawless setlist that spanned his entire 20-year career. From his debut album at just 16 years old to his latest hits, he gave fans a true celebration of his journey. One of the show’s biggest highlights came when Breezy soared across the stadium, flying from the main stage to a second stage in the back, giving fans seated farther away an up-close moment. While on the back stage, he treated the audience to a classic “Take You Down” performance, complete with inviting one lucky woman onstage, a move straight out of Usher’s iconic playbook.
The night was filled with singing, dancing, and pure nostalgia, but if I’m being honest, I have to admit that I enjoyed his 11:11 Tour a little more. That show was packed with more choreography and elaborate stage props. Still, there’s no denying that everything Chris Brown does is great—he doesn’t miss.
This Breezy Bowl wasn’t just a concert—it was a milestone. A celebration of two decades in the music business for an artist who continues to evolve, inspire, and deliver unforgettable performances. It was a night I’ll never forget and the perfect way to honor Chris Brown’s 20-year legacy.
